A field of 1.5 T is directed along the positive z-direction, which is upward. (a) If the loop is removed from the field region in a time interval of 6.4 ms, find the average emf that will be induced in the wire loop during the extraction process.

The induced EMF is given as

EMF = rate of change of flux

EMF = pi*0.19^2 *(1.5 - 0)/(0.064)

EMF = 26.6 V

the induced EMF is 26.6 V

b)

Now, as the flux is decreasing the induced current will support the applied magnetic field.

Hence, the current is Anti CLockwise
