Solution

a) Ex at x= 0,480 m = 9 x 10^9 (9 x 10^-9 )/ (0.48 +0.24)^2 + 9 x 10^9 ( 9 x 10^-9) / (0.48 - 0.24)^2

=81 ( 1/0.5184 + 1/0.0576) = 1562.499 N/C

Ey = 0

b) E = 1562.499 N/C
